Below please find the project update for the week of March 6 and anticipated traffic control for the week of March 13, 2017.
Project Demolition in Process
With the cooperation of Mother Nature this week, the project team worked to remove the existing roadway, sidewalk and utilities. Crews worked west from Pyramid Way to Rock Blvd. Next week, March 13, traffic control will be installed on the west end of the project for the same type of demolition work. Water line installation, utility improvements and demolition will continue the week of March 13, 2017.

Traffic Control Week of March 13, 2017
Weather dependent, traffic control may include sidewalk closures, lane closures and minor detours.
The south side of the roadway is closed for demolition and roadway reconstruction from Pyramid Way west to El Rancho Drive. Businesses are still open. Traffic is shifted to the north side of the roadway. One lane in each direction will be maintained. Business and residential access will be maintained. Drivers can expect minor delays.
Crews will begin installing traffic control on the west end of the project following the anticipated completion of the City of Reno sewer rehabilitation project on Monday, March 13, 2017. Traffic will be shifted to the south side of the roadway during striping operations, approximately 48 hours, and then shifted to the north side of the roadway. One lane in each direction will be maintained. Business and residential access will be maintained. Drivers can expect minor delays.
The City of Reno sewer rehabilitation project is anticipated to be complete Friday. March 10, 2017. Please call Reno Direct at 334-INFO with questions or comments.
